IAAF President Lamine Diack officially opened the 2nd IAAF World Coaches’ Conference which was held yesterday in the Cosmos Hotel, Moscow (Monday 19 August).
The conference gave coaches from 203 participating national teams assembled for the IAAF World Championships the opportunity to take part in this exchange of experience and knowledge.
Also at the top table yesterday were Vice President Sergey Bubka, fellow Council Member and Coaches’ Commission Chairman Victor Lopez and General Secretary Essar Gabriel, along with the Director of the IAAF Development Department Abdel Malek El-Hebil.
The assembled gathering of world coaching talent heard from a number of distinguished colleagues who lectured on many different topics:
